About Us

Jim and I started The Pet Loft several years ago when I couldn't find the high-quality, nutritious foods I wanted for my gang.

We started in a small second-floor walkup space a few miles south of our current location. Folks kept saying, this looks like a barn loft. Hence, our name, The Pet Loft. However, we quickly outgrew that space.

Next we moved to the building just south of our current location. More room but we added more stuff and more varieties of pet food.

Jackie & Artie

In the spring of 2007, we expanded again and moved to our current location.

Our staff all have and love their own special companions. Many of them actively compete in dog sports like agility and obedience. They bring a wealth of knowledge about nutrition and training for your pet. Artie and I actively work on a Search and Rescue team. He is also a certified therapy dog. My newest dog, Micky, is now in training for SAR.

Our dogs and those of our staff are featured on the wall behind the front counter. Ask us about them!
